Principal’s Message

I am so pleased to welcome all students and families to STEM Institute of Manhattan. Here at STEM, we believe that all children are capable of success…NO EXCEPTIONS! It is our mission to ensure that all students are known well by at least one adult to ensure that their individual academic and social-emotional needs are met. We are also committed to developing a positive school climate with academic emphasis through professional partnerships with cultural and community-based organizations working collaboratively with parents, the community, cultural and academic organizations.
 
Our students are future scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians. To prepare them for the future, all 3K -5th grade students have technology and engineering classes weekly. In our state-of-the-art technology lab, students learn computer basics, coding, programming and robotics. In engineering, students collaboratively solve real-world problems using the engineering design process.
